Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be working with a highly successful retail business as they looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller for their team.Located in Chesterfield you will report into the Financial Controller, and you will be responsible for taking the lead with all monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting.This is a perfect opportunity for somebody who is looking to make the move from Practice into Industry.Benefits include:

Responsibilities will include:
- Production of year-end statutory accounts
- Leading the annual audit, and liaising with the external auditors
- Assist with new system implementations & financial consolidation
- Month-end and quarter end reporting and submission to Group
- Assist with quarterly & annual Corporation tax submissions including liaison with external tax advisors
- Liaise with SLT to ensure information required for statutory submissions is obtained & accurate
Key Skills / Experience
- Fully Qualified (ACA / ACCA)
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Advanced Excel Knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills
