We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join my clients team in Chesterfield. This role involves a blend of accounting responsibilities and administrative tasks, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their daily work and has a keen eye for detail.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handling basic bookkeeping tasks and assisting with financial recordkeeping.
  • Processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements.
  • Performing administrative duties such as filing, handling mail, and preparing documentation.
  • Supporting the office team with various tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing supplies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
