Office based - M-F8am - 4pm (Early finish Friday) ASAP Start Your new role

You will ensure the accurate and timely completion of all month-end accounts, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet. The successful candidate will oversee the sales ledger, purchase ledger, and cashbook, and process bank payments and bank reconciliations. You will prepare timesheet data for the monthly payroll and review and submit statutory returns, such as VAT and tax, as well as agree intercompany balances with relevant counterparts within the group. In this role, you will also manage all forecast and budget submissions and liaise with external auditors.This is a stand-alone role within the Chesterfield site, but you will work closely with the finance team within the wider group.What you'll need to succeed

Our client is seeking part-qualified candidates or those with an accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent). The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have experience in a similar role, specifically handling month-end accounts.
