Role: Events Officer
Contract: Temporary (3 months initially with the possibility of extension)
Working Pattern: Full time, Hybrid (1 - 2 days per week on site)
Location: Chesterfield - requirement to travel as and when required
Rate of Pay: Daily rate between 250-300
Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for event management? We are seeking an Events Officer to support the planning and execution of a high-profile real estate conference. This is a temporary, full-time role for a duration of 3 months, with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Events Officer, you will work closely with the Head of External Affairs to manage the various aspects of the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Documentation Management: Create and maintain crucial documents such as briefing packs, PowerPoint presentations, and planning documents to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
- Diary Coordination:Maintain an accurate and up-to-date complex diary of events and meetings over the three-day conference, adapting to daily changes with ease.
- Registration Assistance:Oversee the registration process for delegates and contractors, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Hotel Bookings Management:Assist in maintaining and amending hotel room bookings for delegates to guarantee comfort and convenience.
- Team Meetings Setup:Organise Teams calls for meetings and discussions with colleagues and external partners to facilitate effective communication.
- Information Sharing:Support the sharing of information via SharePoint with partners, ensuring everyone has access to the latest updates.
- Ticketing Process:Aid in the event ticketing process, managing delegate registrations and communications.
- Content Liaison:Coordinate with contractors to ensure the digital investment prospectus content is current and all requested changes are implemented.
- Catering Management:Collaborate with external suppliers to manage event catering, ensuring a delightful experience for all attendees.

- Expertise in all aspects of event management.
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe, Outlook, Microsoft Planner, and more.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
