- Follow established production processes and quality controls.
- Assemble various electrical components, including control panels, cabinets, cable harnesses, and breakout boxes.
- Work from technical drawings and provide feedback on potential errors or improvements.
- Inspect assembled products to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report any issues to the line manager.
- Contribute to the team's success by utilizing your skills and experience as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an industrial or engineering setting.
- Strong ability to assemble and inspect products to a high standard.
- Experience with complex electrical tasks, including wiring and soldering.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and standards.
- Ability to work independently, when necessary, while also being an effective team player.
- Basic computer skills, particularly with Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary production team.
- A positive, motivated approach with a strong work ethic.
Desirable Qualifications
- Background in test and automation.
- IPC620 & J-STD-001 certification.
- Experience in the aerospace or defence industry.
- Proven expertise in bespoke test equipment.
- Experience with electrical testing.
- Familiarity with PCB assembly.
