Are you a meticulous Quality Engineer with a passion for maintaining high standards and ensuring that products meet and exceed customer expectations? The Role:

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products adhere to customer specifications and industry standards. You will be responsible for developing inspection plans, investigating non-conformances, managing calibration processes, and driving quality improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop inspection plans, identifying gauging needs, inspection methods, and data recording processes.
  • Provide technical support on inspection matters to operators and inspectors.
  • Standardise inspection methods to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist in the writing of CMM and measuring arm programs.
  • Manage Non-Conforming Products through Factory Master, implementing corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, delivering Corrective and Preventative Action Reports.
  • Oversee calibration and monitoring of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to resolve quality issues.
  • Lead internal audits to maintain compliance with ISO9001 and customer-specific requirements.
  • Analyse quality data and present findings to production teams using KPIs.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing quality systems.

What You Need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent experience in a quality role (minimum of 3 years preferred).
  • Internal Auditor certification (desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Logical, methodical, and highly organised approach to work.
