Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver digital manufacturing and automation projects with a team of engineers
- Develop engineering design documents, design, and approve hardware, software, and controls for automated systems
- Collaborate with customers and provide technical support and commissioning expertise
- Most crucially, assist with mentoring our team of junior engineers and explore new technologies in industrial automation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree educated and then ideally 3+ years in digital manufacturing or automation engineering; experience of working for a systems integrator or having an understanding of their role is highly desirable
- Demonstrable experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA: Familiarity with Siemens, Rockwell, or AVEVA systems
- Experience in validated systems within pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments is an advantage
