Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 26,000 - 36,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing sales ledger reconciliation
- Conducting bank nominal account reconciliations
- Assisting with payroll tasks
- Preparing quarterly VAT reports
- Managing quarterly accruals and deferrals reporting
- Implementing effective credit control measures
- Reporting directly to the directors of the company
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of internal accounting experience, bringing all ledgers up to trial balance stage
- AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience
- Proficiency in using accounting software for invoicing and payment applications
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Familiarity with customer intranets/systems for invoicing
- Knowledge of financial services industry trends and regulations
- Ability to implement cost control measures effectively
