The ideal candidate will excel in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your new roleOur client seeks accountancy candidates who have experience in accounts receivable roles. Even if you're not currently working in AR but have a comprehensive accounting background and a strong understanding of accounts receivable, we would love to hear from you. The role includes performing sales ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for reconciling all bank nominal accounts to maintain accurate account balances.

• Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
• Customer Account Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment processing.
• Credit Control: Implement and manage credit control procedures to minimise bad debt and ensure timely collections of outstanding payments.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations, including timely and accurate VAT reporting.
• Ad hoc Payroll Support

What you'll need to succeedAAT level 4 qualified, or qualified by experience.5 years Accountancy experience Experience working in a similar role - financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a strong background in accounts receivable, financial management, and accounting principles.
