Plater/Welder
Rose Recruit LTDare currently looking for plater/welders fora very well established and successful fabrication company specialising in heavy fabrications, established for over 45 years and accredited to ISO9001, BS EN 1090-2 Exc 3 and BS EN3834-2.
Due to continued growth at the comapnytheyare currently looking for experienced fabricators/welders to join our team on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- MIG welding, fabrication and development on bespoke steel fabrications in a heavy engineering environment.
- Using varying workshop tools, plant and machinery.
- Working from engineering drawings & specifications.
- Expert level of building parts/assemblies to engineering drawings.
- Welding to a high quality.
- Measuring and marking out plate and sections for cutting, shaping and drilling.
- Adherence to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed:
Confident plater or fabricator
Ideally apprentice trained or relevant qualifications
Confident MIG Welder
Experience operating fabrication machinery
Must have worked within a heavy steel industry
Confident working from engineering drawings from scratch.
Working Hours
Day Shift Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm Friday 7.00am to 12.00pm
