Elevation Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a specialist manufacturing company based in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and hands-on professional to drive product and process improvements, ensuring the highest quality standards across the business.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate and develop the Quality Management System (QMS), writing procedures and processes to support continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and enhance processes in line with ISO 9001/14001 and customer-specific requirements.
  • Lead, support, and conduct internal and external audits across all areas of the business.
  • Ensure a right-first-time approach is achieved and maintained, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues through structured problem-solving techniques such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Pareto analysis, Kaizen (CI), and 8D problem-solving.
  • Drive corrective actions with suppliers, internal manufacturing teams, customers, and external auditors to improve QMS performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Experience in dealing directly with customers and suppliers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
