CLASS 1 DRIVER

WORKING DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY - SUNDAY: STARTS

People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Chesterfield, working on an ongoing basis.

This role is fridge work and is trunking to other depots.

This role may become permanent for the right candidate.

Rates of Pay

Monday to Thursday £15.05 per hour
Friday £17.20 per hour
Saturday £16.13 per hour
Sunday £18.28 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Drive a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
Trunk runs to depots
Fridge work
Follow Company policies and procedures
Comply with Driving rules and regulations
Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed and unit is well presented at all times
Positive 'can do' attitude

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
Hold a valid UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
Have a minimum of 18 months experience driving CE vehicles
Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
Work in a professional manner
Excellent communication skills
Experience operating temperature controlled trailers

Desirable Experience

Experience of working covering weekend shifts is desirable but not essential

Driving and written assessment required
