Business Development Manager – Homebased – Up to £50,000Chase & Holland are excited to be working with an innovative and growing global food manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team. They are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about building relationships with retail partners. This is an exciting time to join the business during a period of continued growth.   Benefits include:

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
  • Identifying potential new customers in partnership with the internal stakeholders, ensuring achieve the customer’s ways of working from initial meeting
  • Developing and supporting with the company’s strategic plan of the assigned market or customers working with the Commercial Director to make any necessary amendments
  • Taking full responsibility for the area/customer gross margin
  • Growing the customers’ business by developing long-term strategies and plans
  • Working closely with the marketing team to ensure all campaigns are utilised
  • Building and developing long term relationships with key accounts
  • Attending trade and industry events as needed
  • Forecasting future business for key accounts
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Must have experience is Food Manaufacturing and have experience selling into retailers
  • Negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in managing customer relationships and achieving targets
  • Clear understanding of process management and a methodical approach
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
