Kingfield Electronics is seeking a dynamic and results-drivenSales Managerto take ownership of all sales and commercial activities across our established customer accounts. This is a crucial role in managing high-level customer relationships, driving sales growth, overseeing quotations, and ensuring a seamless link between business development and operational fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Commercial Strategy:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to retain and grow existing customer accounts.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities.
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the sales function.
- Track the forward sales order book against budget to support revenue projections and business planning.
Revenue Generation & Profitability:
- Identify opportunities to grow existing product lines and introduce new products.
- Drive revenue growth through upselling and additional service offerings.
- Monitor sales performance and margins, implementing strategies for improvement.
Commercial Arrangements and Agreements:
- Manage and enhance commercial agreements with customers to strengthen relationships and mitigate risks.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure adherence to commercial arrangements.
Strategic Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
- Lead quarterly business reviews, ensuring all relevant performance metrics are captured.
Request for Quote (RFQ) Control:
- Manage the RFQ process, including monitoring incoming requests and outstanding quotations.
- Analyse cost data and prepare commercial proposals for internal review and customer submission.
New Product Introduction (NPI):
- Oversee the commercial aspects of new customer onboarding, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Manage the contract review process to align stakeholders and business requirements.
Administrative & Systems Support:
- Maintain and develop sales and commercial documentation, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Utilise the ERP system for sales analysis and reporting.
Compliance & Standards:
- Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Ensure all processes align with the Quality Management System (QMS) and AS9100 compliance standards.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in sales and commercial management within a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management and revenue growth strategies.
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience in market and sales data analysis.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
