About The Role
Location: Arkwright IVC, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S44 5DN
- Salary £29,383.07 per annum / £13.25 per hour
- Working 42.50 hours per week
- Shift Patter: Monday - Friday
- Start times: 08:00am - 17:30pm
- Working Saturdays before and after bank holiday to catch up, Mondays required as necessary.
- Full PPE proved
Experience Operating shredders and trommel screeners a distinct advantage
What will I be doing?
- Carry out instructions issued by the Site Team Leader or Site Manager.
- Operate and maintain a variety of mobile plant in compliance with Safe system of work.
- Maintaining a tidy site, carrying out general cleaning duties and routine maintenance and daily mobile plant checks.
- Ensuring that within their areas of responsibility, SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by their actions.
- Cooperating with SUEZ and with other employees in order to comply with site permit, all applicable legislation and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
- Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.
What are the requirements?
- Enthusiastic team player.
- Who will work to ensure site operations exceed the standards required to maximise production.
- Experience operating processing plants and a mechanical aptitude a distinct advantage.
- A flexible approach to work, including hours will be essential.
- Experienced mobile plant operator (front end loading shovel) is essential.
- A licenced operator would have a distinct advantage but this is not essential.
- Willing to undertake training both on site and off site (May require occasional travel)
- As the post requires a variety of tasks to be completed, a flexible approach to work is required
