We are seeking a Manual Turner/Miller for a position in Chesterfield, South Yorkshire.
The role involves general milling, turning, cutting duties, basic maintenance of machinery, and health & safety awareness.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a high precision manufacturing environment and possess excellent communication skills.
The working hours include a weekly rotation of days, afternoons, and nights, with pay rates of £14.10 per hour for days and afternoons, and up to £17.63 for nights.
The average annual earnings for this position range from £39,000 to £40,000.

MANUAL MACHINIST

We are recruiting for a Manual Turner / Miller to work for our client who are in Chesterfield, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF MANUAL MACHINIST:

General Milling / Turning / Cutting duties.

Machinery and equipment basic maintenance.

Health & Safety awareness.

General housekeeping.

Operate lifting equipment (crane, magnets & slinging).

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background

Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

Days 6am-2pm, Afters 2pm-10pm and Nights 101pm-6am on a weekly rotation

THE PAY:

You will earn £14.10 per hour including shift allowance

Days and afters £16.21 / Nights £17.63

(Basic average annual earnings; £39,000 - £40,000)
