Our client, a leading tier 1 contractor in the construction and water sectors, is currently seeking a Working Supervisor to join their team in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in water blue-collar roles to oversee and manage site activities on a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and managing on-site construction activities
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinating with the project manager and team members
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring timelines are met
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality
- Managing site documentation and reporting
- Providing technical guidance and support to site operatives
- Using specialist equipment, including Cat & Genny and NPORS-certified machinery
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a supervisory role within the construction and water sectors
- Valid CSCS card
- SSSTS certification
- First Aid certification
- Cat & Genny competency (preferred)
- NPORS certification for Forward Tipping Dumper/360 above and below 10 tonnes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
