Job Description

I am working closely with a National M&E Contractor who are looking for an ambitious and driven Mechanical Contracts Manger to join their East Midlands business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established yet growing business with a national turnover of 100m, regionally they are currently turning over 30m with a goal to increase this to 50m within the next 3 years.

Responsibilities:

  • The role would see you have 5 direct reports across a number of live jobs reporting directly into the Regional Director.
  • Manage and oversee multiple mechanical contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Responsible for the delivery of planned commitments to the client, ensuring agreed KPI's and service levels are being met
  • Work closely with the commercial department to prepare and review budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports related to mechanical contracts
  • Liaise with all stakeholders and contractors ensuring service delivery and customer satisfaction to the highest level
  • Collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate the execution of works, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality
  • Weekly reporting on project progress
  • To ensure sub-contractors are procured in a timely manner, ensuring the contract is kept on target from the outset
  • Manage site installation
