We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a small, friendly primary school in Chesterfield, rated Good by Ofsted. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a mixed Year 1/2 class, helping children thrive across the curriculum.

About the Role:
  • Working three days a week (Monday to Wednesday), supporting all aspects of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

  • Leading interventions in phonics, reading, and handwriting for children who need extra support.

  • Working closely with the class teacher to promote engagement and progress.

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support as required.

About You:
  • A TA qualification at Level 2 or above is beneficial but not essential.

  • Experience working with Key Stage 1 children is desirable.

  • Patient, nurturing, and committed to helping children achieve their potential.

  • Confident supporting phonics, reading, and handwriting interventions.

  • A team player with a positive attitude, ready to contribute to a supportive school environment.
