Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding part-time role? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school on the outskirts of Chesterfield.
About the Role:- Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Contract: Fixed-term until July 2025
- Supporting KS2 classes with general classroom activities
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Assisting with learning interventions and differentiated tasks
- Supporting the teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with SEND pupils is essential
- Previous experience as a general classroom TA in a primary setting
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A welcoming and supportive school community
