Teaching Assistant | Chesterfield, S43 | £95 - £105 per day | Long Term to Permanent

Long Term Futures are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant in a welcoming secondary school located in the Chesterfield, S43 area. The successful candidate will join a supportive and successful school, taking a positive approach to supporting students with a passion for helping them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), working 1-to-1 and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify the unique learning styles, strengths, and challenges of each student
  • Develop strong communication and teamwork with students, staff, and parents to ensure a well-rounded support network
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed
  • Help students follow school rules and expectations, building positive relationships based on trust and respect

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an educational setting, ideally with students who have diverse learning needs
  • Ability to adapt learning strategies to meet the individual needs of students
  • A passion for education and creating a positive, supportive learning experience for all students
  • An up-to-date DBS check and two professional references are required for this role
