Year 6 Teaching Assistant - Full Time (Chesterfield)
We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our school in Chesterfield on a full-time basis. This exciting opportunity is available for an immediate start and offers a rewarding role supporting Year 6 students during this crucial stage of their education.
Key Details:- Role: Year 6 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
- Location: Chesterfield
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
In this role, you will:
- Provide support across all aspects of the curriculum in the Year 6 classroom.
- Work with small groups of students for English and Maths interventions.
- Be a confident behaviour manager, helping maintain a positive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with Upper Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6 students.
- A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Confidence supporting the delivery of core subjects, including leading intervention groups.
- This role would suit an experienced TA or a teacher looking to step back from leading a full class while still making an impactful contribution to students' learning.
