We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our school in Chesterfield on a full-time basis. This exciting opportunity is available for an immediate start and offers a rewarding role supporting Year 6 students during this crucial stage of their education.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support across all aspects of the curriculum in the Year 6 classroom.
  • Work with small groups of students for English and Maths interventions.
  • Be a confident behaviour manager, helping maintain a positive learning environment.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • Previous experience working with Upper Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6 students.
  • A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Confidence supporting the delivery of core subjects, including leading intervention groups.
  • This role would suit an experienced TA or a teacher looking to step back from leading a full class while still making an impactful contribution to students' learning.
