Location: Derbyshire – Precision Engineering Business

The Role:

This position will see you at the forefront of maintaining and optimising specialist drilling and machining equipment. From diagnostics and fault finding to repair and servicing, you will play a vital role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Maintenance & Repair: Preventative & reactive maintenance on precision engineering machines 
  • Electrical & Mechanical Fault-Finding: Diagnose and repair breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Continuous Improvement: Work closely with production teams to enhance machine efficiency & reliability
  • Technical Expertise: Support with tooling adjustments & specialist modifications
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe and organised working environment
What We’re Looking For:
  • Extensive experience in maintenance of precision machinery
  • Strong background in machine maintenance & servicing, ideally with an electrical bias
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & schematics
  • A hands-on approach, problem-solving mindset, and strong attention to detail
