The successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer will manage development projects all the way from initial research, through design, prototyping, manufacturing and delivery to the marketplace.

  • Taking an active part in the initiation of new product ranges and product refreshes.
  • Creating detailed product specifications, hardware designs, prototypes and embedded software to deliver required functionality.
  • Ensuring manufacturers and suppliers are briefed accurately, effectively and meet required deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing supplier portfolio and sourcing new suppliers for specific projects.
  • Ensuring product feasibility and produce a calculation/study for any capital projects.

To be successful in this role of Senior Electronics Design Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI and UART.
  • Knowledge of RF modules.
  • Experience of using hardware development packages, such as Eagel and Altium.
  • Experience working with micro controllers including timers and interrupt handling.
  • Experience with manufacturing techniques and knowledge of design for manufacture.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot trends.
  • Excellent time management skills when managing workloads and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic and highly self-motivated.
  • Logical and creative mind and is eager to innovate, learn and develop.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
