Your new role
This is a fantastic new job role to join a growing business. This role is newly created due to the growth plans of the company and will be a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop in a role and add value to the marketing of the organisation. This role will be a stand-alone Marketing Coordinator and will report to the Operations Manager. The role would suit someone with marketing coordination experience who is keen to take the lead in driving marketing and content within a family business.


The main purpose of the role will be to effectively market and communicate the organisations' products to prospective customers across various marketing platforms. You will improve and devise content with a view to engaging new customer audiences and showcase a diverse product range to effectively grow sales for the business. The successful candidate will have excellent marketing coordination experience and be an effective communicator as this role will require extensive interaction with key technical experts within the business and be able to work with the wider business also (Sales Team and Operations) also including external suppliers / marketing agents.


The successful candidate must be extremely professional and approachable with an ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders, particular clientele includes high-end retailers and 5* hospitality sector clients/customers.

Duties of the role will include:


- Daily reporting to the Operations Manager and collaboration with technical experts within the business
- Create and maintain an operational marketing activity agenda that delivers improved marketing and social media presence, seasonal campaigns, product launches, ad hoc marketing agendas
- Work with technical experts in the business to create content for marketing requirements
- Work with marketing agencies as required
- Creation of digital content with the technical experts to showcase products
- Editing of digital content to create content for all marketing outputs in line with the business' communication style
- Coordinating the design and approved production of all printed marketing
- Completing the production for the written copy for the company website, social media and marketing literature
- Ensuring that the product specifications on the website have full/ accurate descriptions, accurate photo imagery and video, link to additional content information and relatable product information/ use
- Manage the company's social media channels for comments, queries and support to customers
- Travel where necessary to external sites and suppliers
This position is newly created and there is lots of scope for the role to develop, potential additional responsibilities will include; proactively increasing the social media presence and interactions, creation of ads and ad campaigns for social media, marketing budget management, marketing analytical reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, our client is keen to appoint someone with the skills to design, author, edit and publish content themselves rather than co-ordinating input from colleagues and agencies. The successful candidate will have experience of digital phone and video content creation, excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to use AI tools and have excellent knowledge of experience of Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator/Premiere Pro).
