Elevation Recruitment Group's Finance Division are delighted to be working with a successful manufacturing business in the Chesterfield area as they look to recruit a Finance Analyst into their team, on a full time, permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team where you will play a crucial role providing financial analysis and insight to support stakeholders, thereby driving informed business decisions and supporting a robust budgeting and forecasting approach.Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will include:

  • Ensure financial reporting including weekly profit and loss and month end close, are completed accurately
  • Report and communicate key performance indicators to monitorand drive positive change
  • Build cross functional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support budget quarterly forecasts, demonstrating an understanding of the key drivers, to inform strategic decision making
  • Preparation and monitoring of monthly reports and ensure queries are resolved in timely and effective manner
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to aid interpretation and decision making

Key Skills required: 

  • QBE or studying towards a qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate to all levels of the business
  • Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly in order to meet deadlines and have the drive to deliver results
