LTF Recruitment are thrilled to be offering an exciting opportunity as a behaviour mentor within one of our excellent alternative provisions located in Chesterfield. You will be joining an excellent team committed to improving the education and wellbeing of all pupils. This role has potential to be a permanent role subject to a successful trial period.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting 1:1 and group sessions to support students in developing positive behaviour and social skills.
  • Working closely with teachers, parents, and colleagues to create a pleasant and supportive learning environment.
  • Quickly building strong working relationships with students, and act as a positive role model.
  • Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least 6 months experience.
  • Have strong communication and verbal skills.
  • Must be able to drive to work.
  • Team Teach or equivalent training is desirable.
