Metalis are currently working alongside an established specialist manufacturing company who due to a healthy order book, are recruiting for an experienced CAD CAM Programmer to join the team in Chesterfield.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Producing programs, tooling sheets, methods etc
• Developing precise CNC programs using Hypermill software.
• Providing production engineering support
• Working closely alongside the design and production teams
• Planning efficient manufacturing methods, including jig and fixture design
• Continuous Improvement - Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap

The ideal person will:

• Have proven experience in CNC Programming and CAD / CAM Software (Hypermill)
• Fantastic problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alongside various different departments
• A forward thinker, with a collaborative spirit who is committed to helping develop and introduce offline programming throughout the business

Shifts & Salary:

• 35,000 - 45,000
• Days only, Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
• Chesterfield
• Permanent
