Cover Supervisor

Hays is delighted to be recruiting for a Cover Supervisor at Outwood Academy Hasland Hall. This role is perfect for individuals considering a teaching career or anyone with integrity, imagination, and energy looking for a rewarding position.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Organising the daily cover rota for absent staff.
• Contacting teaching supply agencies to arrange supply staff.
• Covering lessons as needed.
• Assisting in the classroom during periods where cover is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operation of daily cover arrangements.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
• Support teaching staff by assisting in lessons and providing additional help where needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Extremely well-organised with the ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
• Capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• A role model to others, demonstrating good communication and listening skills.
• Maintain respect and confidentiality at all times.
