Description
- Plan and schedule preventative maintenance activities
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure efficient execution of tasks
- Analyse equipment performance and recommend improvements
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators for the maintenance function
- Assist with the budgeting process for the department
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
- Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers
Profile
A successful Maintenance Planner should have:
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field
- Experience with CMMS, SAP or Shire
- Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
