Sortation Operative

The Best Connection are looking forWarehouse/Sortation Operativesfor one of our clients based in the Chesterfield area.

Our client has over 30 years experience in their field and are and provide their services to thousands of clients up and down the UK. They are looking forhard-working, reliable and trustworthypeople to work in their warehouse. As awarehouse/sortation operativeyou will be expected to carry out a number of different tasks throughout your day such aspicking, sorting, packing, storing and locatingitems around the warehouse.Please note you will be lifting up to20kg boxes of records on a regular basis.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00.
• Monday to Friday 17:00 to 02:00.

Main duties:

• Picking the correct customer records
• Packing and sorting records
• Locating products around the warehouse
• Storing items in a safe location
• Wrapping
• Use of hand-held scanners
• Other general duties as required.
• DBS Checked (we can do this for you)
• This is a labour intense vacancy and you will be continually lifting

Skills and personal qualities:

• Hard-working.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of the wider team.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Warehouse experience is advantageous.
