Wills and probate ExecutiveChesterfield£26,000- £40,000Full Time, PermanentAbout the Firm & Role:We are working with an award-winning firm with over 100 years' experience in their industry who are seeking a Wills and probate Executive to join the experienced and incredibly successful team.This role would be based out the firms Chesterfield office, you will be joining a firm with over 100 employees which is continuing to grow year upon year. The firm specialises in Corporate Tax, Corporate Finance, Private Client, Wealth Management Services and is a market leader within the region.You will be joining an incredibly supportive and knowledgeable team to support with the managing of a caseload of estate projects. You will play a key part in a busy department where everyone truly pulls together and supports one another.This role would suit individuals coming from a legal or financial background with experience dealing with wills, LPA's, trusts and other legal documents relating to estate administration. Due to the experience within the team we are open to individuals with extensive wills, trust and probate experience as well as individuals who may only have wills experience but are willing to develop and learn.Additional qualifications such as STEP would be supported by the firm also if desired.Key Responsibilities:Actively manage a portfolio of Estates, from start to finish, with support from more senior colleagues (where required) Support other colleagues in the team with the management of more complex Estates. Prepare IHT returns for Estates where relevant (and review less complex cases for others as and when required) Support the Estate Director with the management of the Estate team, the processes, and delivery of work Support with legal drafting of Wills, and where appropriate, take Will instructions Support with the drafting of LPAs, and lead with the project management of the delivery fromstart to finish (when appropriate)Support with the drafting of Trusts and other legal type documents, where appropriate Review work of others, as required Support the Private Client team (and other members of the firm, as appropriate) with technical skills, management skills, marketing, networking etc. Support with business development work, developing relationships with referrers and other individuals (subject to experience) Manage projects from start to finish Ensure technical knowledge is kept up to date Encourage 'one tax team' and 'one firm' approach to client workAbout you:2+ years experience working within a wills and probate focussed role either Proven collaboration skills Driven and ambitious individualHow to apply:If this vacancy is of interest to you , please click the apply button.
