Are you an inspiring Maths leader ready to make a real difference? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head of Maths to join our secondary external provision in Chesterfield. This is a unique opportunity to lead a passionate team and shape the future of maths education for our students who need extra support outside of the traditional school setting.

The Role:

  • Position: Head of Maths
  • Location: Chesterfield
  • Start Date: Immediate start available for the right candidate
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent

As Head of Maths, you will:

  • Lead the Maths department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Develop and deliver innovative and engaging curriculum plans tailored to our students' needs.
  • Support students with varying levels of ability, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive whole-school improvement and support the wider school community.

  • A qualified Maths teacher with a track record of success in raising standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire both staff and students.
  • Experience in working within an alternative provision or with students who require additional support (desirable).
