We are working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive Secondary school based on the outskirts of Chesterfield, who are looking to appoint an Interim Head of Year 11 on a full-time basis. The role is to support the wellbeing and behaviour regulation, liaising with parents, families and outside agencies to support the social and emotional wellbeing of the students within your cohort.

The job* The school is looking for someone who is passionate about pastoral support and ensuring young people have the best possible school experience.* In this exciting role, you will contribute to the strategic direction of pastoral support across the school.* Working with senior leaders within the school to ensure success of whole school initiatives.* Providing a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive and feel supported.

The successful candidate will* Have experience in a Pastoral support role.* Have a passion for wellbeing and providing tailored holistic support* Be calm and composed, able to stay professional at all times.* Ability to connect with young people, support regulation of challenging and crisis behaviours.* Be empathetic and able to work with a trauma informed response
