You will also work alongside the main teacher following their lesson plans, leading 1-1 activities and following school policies in behaviour management.

If you are looking to start your career in education whilst also utilising the skills you have developed in psychology or sport, then working as a SEND teaching assistant is an excellent place to start and you will be working with a broad range of SEND pupils including ASC, ADHD and SEMH pupils in a setting that suits your experience, needs and interests.
