LTF Recruitment are very pleased to be offering an outstanding opportunity to work as a teaching assistant within one of our partner alternative provisions in Chesterfield. You will be joining a school dedicated to giving their support for all pupils.
Your duties will include:
* Working with school staff to maintain good behaviour in class and during 1:1 sessions, and to monitor progress.
* Quickly building strong working relationships with students, and act as a positive role model.
* Plan and deliver interventions for students accessing additional SEND & SEMH support.
* Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material.
The right candidate will:
* Excellent communication and verbal skills.
* A positive attitude and willingness to help students succeed.
* Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour.
* Must be able to drive to work.
* The ability to work well in a team with other staff members.
