I am representing a client in the manufacturing sector who is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team. This permanent role offers competitive compensation, including a car allowance, and the opportunity to make a strategic impact across multiple business units.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position focused on providing expert HR guidance and support to line managers and employees. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing HR policies, processes, and legal compliance.
  • Overseeing employee life-cycle activities, including on-boarding, TUPE transfers, and change management.
  • Delivering employee training, mentoring, and coaching programs.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts and talent management initiatives.
  • Maintaining and analysing HR data to improve processes and inform decisions.
  • Collaborating with management teams to ensure a strong employee experience and support business goals.

This role involves travel between business units and participation in regular industry events, requiring a flexible and collaborative approach.

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an experienced HR Manager, Generalist, or Advisor seeking the next step in their career.
  • Hold a minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualification (degree-level qualification desirable).
  • Have strong knowledge of UK HR law and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Be adept at problem-solving, conflict resolution, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience in the construction, manufacturing, or similar industry.
