Due to continued growth, a global organisation supplying blue chip companies within the FMCG industry is actively seeking an Assembly Production Technician to join their business.

In their cutting-edge automated facility, you will play a crucial role in maintaining seamless production through the timely resolution of machine faults and the continual monitoring and improvement of efficiencies.

As an Assembly Production Technician your duties will include:

  • Operation and technical maintenance of assembly cells, valve assembly lines and pump lines ensuring all lines run safely and efficiently on each shift.
  • Performing quality control to ensure products conform to customer specifications.
  • Driving the required outputs and efficiencies always prioritising safety and quality.
  • Preventative/Reactive technical maintenance of lines.

To be successful in the role of Assembly Production Technician, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working in an automated or semi-automated manufacturing environment.
  • Be skilled in root cause analysis and fault finding.
  • Possess a good understanding of general engineering and maintenance of production lines.
  • Have practical experience of continuous improvement / lean manufacturing.
  • Understand production planning to ensure production flow.
  • Have an understanding of ISO9001/14001 and BRC standards.
