Elevation Recruitment Group's Skilled Shop Floor Division is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Chesterfield. We are currently supporting the business in their search for an Mechanical Assembly Operative

Working Hours & Pay for the Mechanical Assembly Operative  

  • Morning Shift: Monday to Friday – 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am-1pm
  • Salary: £25,000-£30,000, depending on experience
  • Full time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and testing of various products
  • Mechanical fitting of instruments, valves, tubing and pipework
  • Assembly of hose, ducting and other ancillary products
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Understanding of quality systems
  • Assembling components to a high standard

Skills & Experience:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience working as an assembly operative or similar role
  • Willing to learn and progress
  • Experience in mechanical fitting of parts such as valves, tubing and pipework
