Shifts: Days (7am - 3pm)

Adept Resourcing Group are proud to be working alongside a busy manufacturing company based in Chesterfield. Together we are searching for an experienced Mechanical Fitter,ideally someone who ispassionate and driven and seeking their next role in a fast paced, heavy industrial environment. This is an ideal role for someone who is career focused with the desire to develop and grow.

Experience with pumps, rotating machinery, steam boilers and pressure systems is highly advantageous, as is MIG/TIG welding.

On Call is required: One week in every six weeks.

Brief Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all equipment mechanical maintenance activities are performed in compliance with environmental and safety rules, as well as with in group procedures.
  • Troubleshoot on breakdowns.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance, Fault Finding, Root Cause Analysis and initiating solutions
  • Responds to out of hours calls when required as per Call Out Process
  • Ensures asset maintenance records are kept in accordance with site and legislative requirements.
  • Ability to update drawings and documentation
  • Contributes to, develops and implements effective maintenance procedures ensuring their consistent application.
  • Facilitate repairs management

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 as a minimum
  • Experience with pumps, rotating machinery, steam boilers and pressure systems is highly advantageous
