Our client is currently looking for a full-time, Stock Control Operativeto join their team based in the Chesterfieldarea.Working in partnership with their customer, at their distribution centre.

What you will do on a typical day:

  • Unload trailers, ensuring stock is correct, undamaged, and palletised correctly.
  • Ensure that all stock is safely stored in an assigned location.
  • Ensure that all loads agree with transport paperwork and are loaded on time.
  • Execute stock counts and audits, investigate, and rectify stock issues.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600 for training
  • Moving onto 1000 to 1800 Monday to Friday

Requirements:

  • Previous stock experience is essential
  • Office 365 proficiency (essential)
  • Reach truck experience (essential)
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy
  • High degree of awareness in respect of personal health and safety
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Responsible for own workload, reliable and honest
  • Computer literate
