Pastoral Officer

Position: Pastoral Officer (Alternative Provision)

Location: Chesterfield, UK

Salary: 90 - 110 per day

We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Officer to work in an Alternative Provision (AP) setting in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pastoral support to students, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the well-being of all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students in managing their behaviour and emotions
Developing strong relationships with students and staff
Implementing pastoral initiatives to enhance student well-being
Collaborating with teachers and senior leadership to create a positive learning environment

Requirements:

Full UK Driving License and access to a car.
Previous experience working in a similar role within an Alternative Provision setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A passion for supporting young people and promoting their emotional well-being
