THE ROLE:

  • The design and costing of variations of our standard products to suit customer requirements.
  • Liaison with suppliers and customers.
  • The creation of manufacture and detail drawings.
  • Overseeing alterations/modifications to existing products.
  • The involvement in creating new, and the improvement of existing manufacturing processes.
  • The design and project management of new products.
  • Overseeing the testing of new products.
  • Programming of CAM software (training will be given).

YOU:

  • Good working knowledge and experience in Solidworks and/or Autocad
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel is required.
  • Good knowledge of general engineering principles.
  • Good communication skills are required, both verbal and written, together with the ability to produce accurate engineering/production drawings.
  • Self-motivated - must be able self-manage and take control of workload.
