Role: Marketing Executive– Chesterfield    

Salary: £28K per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:45am-17:00pm

Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment are excited to be exclusively recruiting for a renewable energy supplier.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager this role will support the implementation of the Marketing Plan and Business Improvement efforts, including implementation of B2C/B2B marketing activities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of SEO - ensuring relevant optimisation is taken care of (on page optimisation and content). Focusing on keyword analysis and research, title and alt tags. Ability to take care of technical hygiene and site health.
  • Regular competitor analysis reporting focusing on trends, posts, content and development for main competitors.
  • Supporting creation of paid ads across google - writing ad content, creating the ad assets and imagery, GIFs etc and doing all keyword research.
  • Organise and roll out all Facebook Ads, both planned and reactive campaigns, creating ad assets, managing spend and optimising accordingly.
  • Working in-line with the planned strategy to enhance the website and improve UX. Creating new landing pages for campaigns and case studies along with general UX improvements/housekeeping. A key focus is on growth and lead generation, optimising landing pages and forms to ensure UX is simplified.
  • Communications & Emails - Template building in Hubspot for marketing communications. Build templates in MyAccount to support business communication needs/teams. Manage all internal communications apart from crisis/critical comms and press responses. KPI reporting for email campaigns.
  • Manage Hubspot from a marketing perspective by completing the following - create relevant workflows, general housekeeping, managing contacts and opt-ins.
  • Manage all aspects of social media for both active channels (Facebook & LinkedIn). Planning and maintaining the content calendar based on trends and industry insights. Creating/generating all content for both channels include creative assets (GIFS, videos, images & text). Regular competitor analysis to ensure we remain up to date with industry standards and trends. KPI reporting for social media.
  • Leads, working with marketing manager to monitor web form fills, working to achieve our set monthly goals and optimising all channels accordingly to ensure we remain on target.
  • Generation of marketing purchase orders via internal JDE system.
  • Working closely with third party agencies for various projects, providing clear briefing, management and communication to ensure relevant projects remain on brand and aligned.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in Marketing or Business discipline.
  • Energised and a pro-active attitude/mindset.
  • Ready to work hands-on and used to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • IT skills (Hubspot, Canva, Analytics, Adwords, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) to advanced level.
