Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems
  • Produce detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
  • Conduct stress analysis, material selection, and design calculations to optimise performance
  • Compiling Bills of Materials
  • Support the testing and validation of new and existing products
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations


Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Mechanical Design, ideally within the marine, oil & gas, or industrial equipment sectors
  • Proficient in SolidWorks
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD would be advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
