Our current requirement for a Technical Inspector will sit well within our friendly team in Chesterfield. This role is responsible to receiving returned parts under warranty and provide a technical analysis of the failed components. Using your technical experience and all resources available, you will gather the information to reporting to the customer and supplying factory.Â

Key Responsibilities
- Record all information on the receipt of a warranted unit
- Compare supplied details to confirm the identity of the unit with the correct technical information, warranty information and customer details
- Compare unit imagery with the catalogue images and note any altercations
- Collect all relevant customer failure information for analytical debate before the disassembly of the unit
- Plan inspection route to determine the best direction for root cause analysis
- Present all relevant failure information for technical analysis by the technical team
Skills and Experience
- Technical Automotive experience
- Technical writing and facilitation skills
- Root cause analysts and investigation skills
- Forklift license is desired but not essential
