Are you a skilled Field Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company in The South Yorkshire/Derbyshire area? We are seeking a talented and proactive individual to fill the position of Field Engineer. As a Field Engineer, what you'll be doing:
- Conduct on-site maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment/machinery at customer locations in Yorkshire and Debryshire.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, and calibration.
- Provide comprehensive reports on maintenance activities, including detailed documentation of repairs, parts used, and customer communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product reliability, develop preventive maintenance strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical fault finding.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites within South Wales as required.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of an NVQ level 3 in Electrical Maintenance .
