Field Service Engineer

Are you a skilled Field Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company in The South Yorkshire/Derbyshire area? We are seeking a talented and proactive individual to fill the position of Field Engineer. If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and possess strong technical skills, this could be the perfect role for you.

As a Field Engineer, what you'll be doing:

  • Conduct on-site maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment/machinery at customer locations in Yorkshire and Debryshire.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, and calibration.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on maintenance activities, including detailed documentation of repairs, parts used, and customer communication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product reliability, develop preventive maintenance strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical fault finding.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel to customer sites within South Wales as required.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an NVQ level 3 in Electrical Maintenance .
