Ford and Stanely are looking for electrical fitters with experience conducting wiring, crimping, looming and assembling wiring harnesses to fit onto rolling stock vehicles.
The Opportunity
Hands-on Electrical Technician required in the midlands, carrying out electrical assembly and installation for a market leader in the design, assembly, and installation of specialist rail improvement modifications on a Monday to Friday, day shift basis,

Role and Responsibilities
- Electrical wiring and assembly of components for rolling stock vehicles
- Building wiring looms and competent at crimpingÂ
- Fitting of electrical components to large systems and vehicles
- Manufacturing of electrical systems in an engineering environment
- Following electrical diagrams to complete installation and fitting activities
The Candidate
- You will be a great team worker
- You will be able to operate a variety of engineering-specific tooling
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics drawings
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in an Electrical discipline
- Experience working in an electrically biased position in an engineering environment
- Able to do continuity testing after assembly
- Experience wiring, crimping and looming
Desirable
- Electrical maintenance experience
- Experience with electrical testing and fault-finding procedures
- Full UK Driver’s LicenseÂ
- Previous experience with TE connectors
