Job Title: Patient Booker - DBS Needed
Location: Birmingham
Pay: 12- 13phr
Contract Type: Temporary, 1 week
Shifts/Hours: 9am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Checking patient referrals for suitability to be seen within our client's clinical units.
- Booking appointments and ensuring patients receive all necessary information and medications.
- Managing patient correspondence and contact records according to established processes.
- Assisting in the preparation of patient notes and health information for appointments.
- Accurately reporting appointment outcomes to facilitate follow-up clinical activities.
- Supporting audit activities, such as checking patient outcome data and maintaining medical supplies.
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of care within our client's organisation.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a reception or customer-facing role is highly desirable.
- Basic DBS Certificate required for this position that's valid and in date.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
